My impression is that this music and other similar in design have two problems:

The music desk is a few inches lower than it would be if one was using the normal music test on a grand. The person in the video says the desk can be lowered but I would want to raise it up a few inches.
It also seems to me like the music desk is sticking out over the the keys so would get in the way of a lot of normal hand movements.

Does this seem correct?

pianoloverus Yes, this one didn't seem as nicely designed as the one Aaron described above. But that one is not available on their site. I tried to find a similar one. I have the same questions about both of them, though

I have the grandstand music desk and I LOVE LOVE LOVE.
The issue I see with this other one is what happens if you have a clip on light?
doesnt look like it would hold one very well.
but in all the pics and videos, notice there are not music desk lights? hmmmmmmm
wonder why?
I do like the width of it tho, that could be great, esp for long sheet music 😁

wonder why the grandstand isn't taking orders?
maybe they got too many orders and couldn't fulfill them all?
I hope they are able to fix whatever issue they seem to be having because it really is a great invention.
