Less than a week before publication. Six submissions so far (already tied for most participants in a PIYW!): Twocats, Simonb, Wie Waldi, PianoMonk, keff, Sophia. Pinging the people I think are interested in participating: @diretonic @Nightowl @LifelongBeginner @kanadajin @HeartKeys (and me)

The publication date (October 15) is not a deadline. Feel free to take your time. No punishments will be given for "late" submissions.

Hi all,

Silent follower of the forum here... I´ve been following the discussion, and as I've been playing Autumn Leaves for a long time, I'm thinking of having a go myself. Apologies if this isn't the place for stupid questions, but...

how do I make a submission?
I was thinking of doing a 'duo': recording myself on u-bass, and playing piano over it. Would that be acceptable? 😀

Anyway, I've heard some nice things on this forum already, so congratulations to all posters already. 😉

This is absolutely fine. We love to hear submissions that are outside the normal scheme. Someone said once: "There is no recital police."

WieWaldi Does anyone know what piece Borge is playing at the beginning? I thought it might be one of Friedmann transcriptions of waltzes by Gartner that he sometimes played, but I checked the score out at IMSLP and I don't think it was one of those.

Fellow participants, my decrepitude/morbidity has had the better of me for the last few weeks so apologies for lack of submission, I’m not going to meet tomorrow's flexible deadline. That said, hopefully with some respite soon, I’ll be able to post a recording later.

okay i plan to have a recording today. i've gone a bit off the rails with ideas, where it's hindering me from staying focused. i can guarantee my recording will have lots of meandering! 🙂

I am in there too. 🙂 Due to my schedule being a little insane this week, I am not sure when I will actually get to properly listen to all the submitted recordings when they go live. I am looking forward to it though!
