Is it true that the carbon fiber pianos from the Steingraeber/ Hurstwood farm are not great in tone? I have never tried or heard one. Recordings are often not perfect at recording the true tone of pianos. ( so it’s not possible to really know) I have read that not even Steingraeber is really satisfied with the tone of these pianos. ( not sure where I read it either)
